Spiritual Growth Opportunities

NEW: High School Faith-sharing Groups

All high school youth are invited to join high school small groups that are forming this fall, especially those who participated in the Steubenville Youth Conference this summer or in the past. Each group will select topics that are relevant to them; come share you input!

High School Ladies Small Group: meetings at St. Joe’s-Maumee (lead by Athena G.) on Mondays at 7 p.m. starting Sept. 10.

High School Gentlemen Small Group: meetings at Saint Rose-Perrysburg (lead by Tom H.) on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. starting Sept. 11.

We are excited to offer this invaluable small group experience to the youth in our deanery. For more information contact hagerty@saintroseonline.org and athena.getsi@stjosephmaumee.org.

High School Discernment Groups

How do you hear God calling you in your life? What do you want to do for a career/vocation? Maybe you have asked yourself these questions, among others.

Saint Rose-Perrysburg is forming a Young Women’s Discernment Group and the diocese will continue its Young Men’s Discernment Group this school-year. Join Fr. David Kidd at Saint Rose once a month for this valuable time to reflect on these questions and more with fellow high school students.

The Young Women’s Group started on Wednesday, Aug. 29 from 5-7 p.m. (4th Wednesday thereafter).
The Young Men’s Group starts on Wednesday, Sept. 12 from 5-7 p.m. (2nd Wednesday thereafter).

Both group meetings include pizza and prayer.

If you have any questions or interested in attending, contact Fr. Kidd at Saint Rose Parish Office or email him at kidd@saintroseonline.org.
Praise God for such an opportunity for our HS students!

Teens Encounter Christ

Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) Retreat is a dynamic, life-giving experience based on the Paschal Mystery: the life, death, resurrection, and mission of Jesus Christ. Although each session is unique, every TEC is a Catholic experience in Christian living designed specifically for high school juniors, seniors or those that graduated in the past year. It is about finding God real and believable in your life. It is an encounter with Christ – Risen and ALIVE today

Applications and reference forms must be submitted a minimum of two weeks in advance of the retreat you wish to attend to be considered.  To express interest in attending an upcoming TEC Retreat, contact Fr. Mark or Heather in the parish office.
