The Knights of Columbus is an organization for Catholic men of all ages with the purpose of strengthening moral standards and supporting a strong family relationship in tomorrows human environment. The focus of this ministry is support of the parish and school through charitable means, both time and funding. Its list of charitable and social activities is extensive.
St. Aloysius hosts the American Red Cross Bloodmobile each year in December. Parishioners recruit workers and blood donors to help supply the 275 blood donors needed to meet the daily needs for 19 area hospitals. More than sixty volunteers are needed to make the Bloodmobile a success.
The St. Aloysius Annual Fall Festival is held the Sunday after Labor Day. The Festival serves many purposes: to encourage fellowship within the parish and provide opportunities for building and deepening relationships; to increase the presence of the Church within the community at large; to provide fun and entertainment for families; and to raise funds for the parish budget. Lots of volunteers are needed to make this important parish event a success.
Coffee Hour provides fellowship and community-building time in Hartmann Hall after the 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM Masses on Sunday.
