F.I.A.T. (Faith in Action Team) is our middle school youth group for students in grades 5-8 from the Religious Education Program, the Religious Education Home School Option and St. Aloysius school. F.I.A.T. is a youth-led group that determines three or four service projects and then implements the projects throughout the year. Projects vary from year-to-year, though the annual Rock-a-thon, which is a fundraiser for the Bowling Green Pregnancy Center, is always on the calendar.
This empowering group depends on the willingness of parents who volunteer to assist in the implementation of these service projects. Typically, we meet before the event to prepare and then participate in the event. Students are encouraged to participate in any and all stages of these events. Any of our projects can be used for Confirmation service requirements.
If you are a high school student, check out the S.A.Y. (St. Aloysius Youth) page.

Need Help with Corpus Christi Event
Our parish needs us for our final F.I.A.T. event of the year. F.I.A.T. and their families are invited to help with our annual Corpus Christi Celebration. On Saturday June 2 at 4 p.m. we will set up for the BG Catholic Community potluck, participate at 5:30 p.m. Mass and the procession, enjoy dinner together with our family and friends, and clean up at the end of the evening. Please call or email Heather to let her know if your family is available to help with this event. We hope many of you will come experience this gift of our faith. Many hands make light work.
