F.I.A.T. (Faith in Action Team)

F.I.A.T. (Faith in Action Team) is our middle school youth group for students in grades 5-8 from the Religious Education Program, the Religious Education Home School Option and St. Aloysius school. F.I.A.T. is a youth-led group that determines three or four service projects and then implements the projects throughout the year. Projects vary from year-to-year, though the annual Rock-a-thon, which is a fundraiser for the Bowling Green Pregnancy Center, is always on the calendar.

This empowering group depends on the willingness of parents who volunteer to assist in the implementation of these service projects. Typically, we meet before the event to prepare and then participate in the event. Students are encouraged to participate in any and all stages of these events. Any of our projects can be used for Confirmation service requirements.

We need volunteers for youth-led Stations of the Cross

Join us for Stations of the Cross
You are invited with the rest of the parish to attend Stations of the Cross on Fridays during Lent at 7 p.m. in the Church.  The Stations of the Cross are also known as the Way of the Cross or Via Dolorosa (Sorrowful Way). The 14 stations or devotions help us focus on the specific events of Jesus’ last day.
