Annulments

An annulment is a declaration by a Church tribunal (a Catholic Church court) that a marriage thought to be valid according to Church law actually fell short of at least one of the essential elements required for a binding union. This link to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops answers Frequently Asked Questions about annulments.

HOW WE HELP:
We assist divorced individuals in exploring the annulment process. This may include spiritual advice and assistance with the process and associated paperwork. The program is directed towards divorced Catholics, especially those who want to marry or have married again.   We also offer assistance to divorced non-Catholics who wish to marry or have married a Catholic. Most activities are individual meetings with the pastor or deacon.
